Privacy notice
This page explains what information I hold about businesses I contact, why I hold it, and how to have it removed.
Who is responsible

What I collect
- Publicly listed business details: business name, category, city, website address, business phone number, and publicly visible Google review counts and ratings.
- A business email address, where one is publicly published or you provide it.
- Automated observations about a business website, such as whether it loads over HTTPS or renders on a mobile screen.
- If I email you: whether the message was delivered, whether you replied, and whether you asked to be removed.
Where it comes from
Public sources — chiefly the Google Places API and the business's own public website — or directly from you.
Why I use it
To assess whether I can genuinely help a business with its online visibility, and to make a relevant, one-off introduction. I do not use it for any other purpose, and I do not sell, rent, or share contact data with third parties.
Service providers
Email is delivered through Resend, which processes the recipient address and message content in order to send it. Business discovery uses the Google Places API. Records are stored on a private server I control.
Opting out
Every email I send includes a working unsubscribe link. Using it removes you immediately and permanently — I keep only an irreversible cryptographic record of the address so that it cannot be contacted again by mistake. You may also reply to any message, or email me at the address above, and ask to be removed.
Your rights
You may ask me what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to its use for direct marketing. Email me and I will action it. There is no charge, and objections to direct marketing are always honoured.
How long I keep it
Contact records are reviewed periodically and removed when there is no longer a reason to keep them. Unsubscribe records are kept indefinitely, because deleting them would risk contacting someone who asked not to be.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top will be updated.
